Joseph Cruise

Dr. Joseph T. Cruise is a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Newport Beach's Fashion Island area, with more than 20 years of aesthetic surgical experience. Born in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, he graduated as valedictorian of Lakeview High School and earned his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from Wayne State University, also completing medical school there.

His surgical training spanned General Surgery, Hand Surgery, Microvascular Surgery, and Plastic Surgery, including time as a burn surgeon at the Grossman Burn Center at Western Medical Hospital, where he reconstructed patients with severe burn injuries.

Dr. Cruise's practice is dedicated solely to cosmetic surgery. He is widely recognized as an expert in the deep plane facelift technique, is regarded as one of the world's top gynecomastia surgeons, developed the Cruise Classification System, and is known for his complete muscle coverage approach to breast augmentation. He was named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for 2026, his second consecutive year receiving the designation.
