Boris Ackerman

Dr. Boris M. Ackerman is Medical Director of Newport Beach Laser and Plastic Surgery Center, specializing in facial rejuvenation. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1978 and earned his Doctorate in Medicine from Dartmouth Medical School in 1981, completing his postgraduate training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Ohio State University.

He holds diplomate status with the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Recognized as a Deep Plane Facelift specialist, he developed advanced techniques in facial surgery using endoscopy and laser technology, has authored publications on the Deep Plane Facelift technique, and invented the Ackerman Facelift Retractor. He is a frequent invited speaker at national and international medical conferences on his systematic approach to the deep plane facelift.

He serves on the staff of Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach and co-directs the Orange County Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship. He was voted Best Facelift Doctor in Los Angeles by Cosmetic Town Journal and has been recognized in America's Top 100 Doctors / Top 10 Specialists and Modern Riviera Magazine's "Power Players."
