Dr. Kian Karimi is a highly skilled cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgeon, and is double board certified in facial plastic surgery and in head and neck surgery. Originally from Indiana, he completed his undergraduate studies with double degrees in Biochemistry and Spanish, graduating magna cum laude at the age of twenty. Dr. Kian matriculated into Indiana University School of Medicine. He graduated with highest possible honors with subsequent induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, a distinction reserved for the top 10% of medical students in the country.
Dr. Kian completed his five-year surgery residency at the University of Florida, trained in otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat)-head and neck surgery. He performed over 2000 procedures during his term. During his residency, Dr. Karimi was recognized with numerous awards. He was selected on three separate occasions as Resident Teacher of the Year, by both the University of Florida College of Medicine and by the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Kian is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery—a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS).
